Meet Farhan

As a child, I loved art. It was my favourite subject in school and I would spend hours creating unique pieces. But as life got busier and the focus shifted to education and qualifications, I lost touch with that creative side. I never stopped to reflect until I faced my own challenges with mental health. It was during this time that I rediscovered the power of art and doodling which helped me navigate difficult moments and regain a sense of clarity.

I worked for the health industry for over 10 years and my last role was focused to promote reward and wellbeing in the NHS. Then seeking a new challenge, I turned to education and spent over three years as a teacher: an experience I deeply cherished yet something was still missing. I realised my true calling was to create a space where people could reconnect with their creativity, reduce stress and find joy and be able to express through art.

This is when the idea for the Calm Minds Cafe took shape!

I truly believe in the importance of investing in our wellbeing, nurturing our minds and souls through creative expression. So come in and explore your artistic side to unwind in a welcoming space.
